With the holidays and 2017 right around the corner, we wanted to give a proper send off to a great 2016 season. It was full of new and familiar faces, all making loving memories with friends and family. It is always so nice to see so many people passionate about fly fishing. We take much pride in preserving our brook trout population around Lakewood Camps. We thank all anglers for abiding by our rules when they come here to fish! Throughout the 2016 season, we came across all types of great guests. We had experienced anglers, first time fly fishers, family reunions, family vacations and just people who wanted to get away from it all. It gives us great pleasure to refer to Lakewood Camps as “Maine’s Natural Getaway.” Knowing our facility brings happiness, peace and a breath of fresh air from every day routines is a true pleasure.
What makes Lakewood Camps really special, is the fact that everyone can find something to do if fishing is not for them. We sit right on Lake Richardson and are a short ways away from the Rapid River in Maine! Our guests have taken full advantage of the nature around us. Guests love to go canoeing and rafting on the lake, swimming, relaxing by the shore, bird watching and hiking.
Below are a photos from this season so everyone can get a glimpse of what it is like to stay at Lakewood Camps!
