Home cooking. Trust us, you’re going to need it.
Our cozy lake front dining room, warmed by a fireplace, looks out across Lower Richardson Lake, where you can see sunsets, sunrises, deer grazing, fish jumping, and even the occasional moose strolling by.
At Lakewood Camps, the day starts with a full breakfast with plenty of hot coffee and juice. All of our food is made from scratch, served to you by our friendly staff. For lunch, look forward to tasty sandwiches and hot soup made fresh daily, with homemade cookies for dessert. For those who want to get in a full day of fishing, hiking, or recreation on the lake, traditional bag lunches are available on request. Rib-sticking diners are served nightly. And vegetarian meals and medically restricted diets are available upon request with advance notice.
Sample Dinner Menus
Fresh green salad, warm rolls, homemade soup, choice of entree (menu changes daily), various potato and rice dishes, fresh vegetables and homemade desserts baked the old fashioned way. Sample entrees include: prime rib, roast turkey, roast loin of pork, baked or broiled fish, charbroiled sirloin and bourbon pot roast.
Our kid’s menu. (Basically a recipe for an enjoyable dinner for parents.)
After a morning or full day of serious fun, kids need a good meal. That is, good to them. We know what they’ll actually eat, and dish up their faves everyday, with PBJs, and daily ‘specials’ for kids every lunch and dinner, including grilled cheese, mac & cheese, hot dogs, and chicken fingers. Sound familiar? And of course, we always keep a good supply of cookies on hand you can use for either rewards or blatant bribes. Have a few for the kid in you.
