Nothing will get your heart going faster than the sudden whoosh of a flushed out grouse. Lakewood Camps offers both guided and unguided upland bird hunting. Located inside a locked gate, our camp offers more than 30,000 acres of land (all areas are accessible by foot or a short drive from camp) with a good range of cover, including many sites with a high chance of achieving the daily bag limit for grouse. Woodcock are regularly sited, as Western Maine is a fly over for this great migratory bird.
